day before news years eve

I went to Springville and took this video that is below. On the way there. I wanted to go meet up with some friends from our old ward in Springville but that didnt happen. So i decided to go to Sonic and use the free sandwhich Coupon that they sent to me on email last night. It was a great sandwhich. I enjoyed it alot. I was trying to get a good shot of the mountains with snow on them. So you can kinda see them but not very good. oh well maybe next time.

I cant believe that tommorrow is News Year's Eve. I am excited cause we are having a sledding party on New Years Day.

CHRISTMAS WAS GREAT

Christmas was great. we woke up and Spencer made the usaul Christmas breakfast which was the sausage and eggs. It was great. I loved every bite of it. Oh it was Heavenly

Then we decide to get our clothes on and try to go get Firennices cache which we did. We went to my sister Angies house and hung out for alittle while. Visiting with my mom, Brother, Sister and some of the nieces , and brother inlaw. then we decided to go and find some caches. all in all we spent time together and it was great.

We spent time with some of Spencers Family last night for a christmas party. It was fun.

TICKED OFF

ok here is my 10 mins of being ticked off.

we went a found a cache yesterday it was a ? cache and it needed six different caches to qualify for it. well we had the 6 caches so we thought. well went and signed the log The person that owned the cache told us we couldnt have it cause it needed to be all on the same day.

so we busted our butts basically all day today and still fell short of the ftf . to top it all off some other cacher went and wrote this. need less to say i am ticked but i will get over it so oh well we only get 20 FTF's instead of 21. at least we got the one today. got a really cool tag for it. also the cacher got ditched sideways serves them right.

December 25 by frivlas (8062 found)Ok, based on the posted logging requirements, we realized that the FTF was still up for grabs, so we headed out here today. It was an interesting journey. While navigating one of the back roads, we tried to avoid a truck and ended up sinking sideways into a ditch at the side of the road. Fortunately, I carry a tow-rope and a nice couple in a Jeep Cherokee came by and gave us a pull out. We headed on and quickly found the cache. We we were the second people to sign the log, but the first to post a qualifying list of caches, so I guess that makes us the true FTF'ers. This was quite a fun adventure, thanks for making our trip fun! tftc

Well our first Multi-Cache was Published this morning. and usual the Dr was the FTF so here is what DR. JAY said:

FTF this morning at 10:00. Made a quick little run through the snow before heading to work to give a final exam. A fun, quick and easy multi, and hidden in a nice spot for a cache. Didn't notice the travel bug in there, perhaps it was buried under the toys? I didn't realize there was supposed to be one in there or I would have looked harder. Unfortunately, the bag 'o trackables that I brought back from Minnesota was in my wife's car or I would have dropped one in there. Signed the log and slowly made my way in the snow to work. TFTFTF

Hark the Herald Angels Sing

I am listening to Hark the Herald Angels sing. Josh Groban sings this version and I like it. He did a great Job on it. I also have been listening to other christmas Songs as well. It helps you get into the Christmas mood. It helps make the season magical. It has also snowed recently so it helps as well. I love this time of year. Christmas is one of my Favorite Holidays.

Yesterday we went to Spencers work christmas party. It was lots of fun. we went to it last year so this is our second time. I had steak and Spencer had Halibut. We also played pepsi's version of are you smarter then a 5th Grader and the table that we were sitting at got chosen to play in the game and we ended up wining the game so we go some gift certs were $50. So we had a really great time.

this weekend

This weekend was a great one. Our Niece was Baptised a member of our church. Which is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We went to it and was able to see her Baptised and we also got to see my mom and Siblings. It was nice. After that we hung out and with some of my family for awhile and had lunch together. It was Delilicious. It was great.

We then went to Eureaka to try to be the first to find on a couple of caches. But we got out there and someone had beat us to them. so we only found one of the caches that we went out to get. We ended up getting a different cache that was near by. then by that time it was time to leave cause we had to be back in town before 4pm for our Family Christmas party.

We Had a bunch of fun. We got to hang out with the family some more. We had Pizza and we opened presents and played a couple of games. We also watched Christmas eve on Sesame Street. I Havent seen that in a while. Its a show that we used to watch when we were younger. we used to watch it every year. Spencer got a couple of Flash Drives and i got some Stuff to use toward Caching. like notebooks,pens,some trade items. it was a great present. it came in a little bag. which was nice.

MONTY GOES CACHING

We were able to be the first to find for a cache in Lindon. This Cache was our 11th FTF for NOV but our 18th FTF in our history. Anyway some caches have prizes in them for the FTF. The Cache had a FTF prize in it. It was a un active trackable so we were able to activate it and we decided to make Monty into a Trackable. So Monty is now one of are trackables. Or another way of thinking is that monty has his Monkey Tags. He is Now as Legal as he can get. lol.

The First picture is him in a cache thats in Springville. Spencer brought the Cache to the car and took a picture. The last picture is him holding a cache. People actually use the Hide a key containers as Caches. Its really a cool way to stash a cache under things that are metal. We got the Cache on the 30th of Nov that is why i had to call you back M. So I Apolize. We will see about coming on the Christmas Stuff.

THANKSGIVING

Today is Thanksgiving. We had Thanksgiving here with just the two of us. It was a great day. we made turkey roast,and the other normal turkey day food. It was great.

We hung out here most of the day and lounged around. It was nice. We only left the house for a little while to try to find a couple of caches. We werent able to find them. oh well another day with be here that we can find some caches. :)

We have 3 more FTF's. number nine was the 12 of NOV and 10 & 11 were yesterday. One of the ones from yesterday is up maple canyon. I went up hiking the wrong way. I guess you were susoped to use a trail to get there. But i couldnt find where the trail was so i ended up taking the hard way up. I found it though. I found the trail after and used it to get down with. The Second one from Yesterday was in PG which isnt that from from Orem. Anyway i was glad that i got the one up in Mapleton. cause i got to go on a hike yesterday to go and get it. I enjoyed the Hike. It was fun and relaxing. The best think about the hike was that i got Exercise from doing it. which is nice.

well today we got a ftf on a cache and 2 stf on 2 other caches. Ftf is first to find and stf is second to find. whats weird about it is the first one we beat Dr Jay to. I went up there and even though i needed gas i didnt get it tell after. The second cache. Dr Jay beat me to it. but the freaky thing about it is that Dr Jay did basically say the same thing as i did with the gas. so here are the logs

I had a lot of things working against me on this one: It got published right before I had to go to class so I wasn't able to go for at least an hour and a half; my car was practically running on fumes and I didn't want to risk stopping for gas on the way there and give away the FTF; and last, but most definitely not least, I'd forgotten my GPSr at home this morning. Despite all this I ran out after my class and found it the old fashioned way: I just printed out the map and drove to the general vicinity and used "the force" to find it. It was a tricky bugger... not to find, but to get out of its hiding place. It took some effort but I finally got it. Signed the surprisingly blank log and then went to grab another cache in the area before heading to get some much needed gas in the car. TFTFTF[view this log on a separate page]

So as you can tell the same 3 people has found the 2 caches. but us and Dr jay switched places. anyway on the 3rd cache we were beat by a different person. anway the point to this post is. its just freaky that we both waited tell after we got our ftf's to get gas its weird.

groovy day

It was a coldish warmest day today. I went to Springville walmart to the hair cutting place and got my normal wash done. its just easier for me to go and spend 3 and get it done. its quicker and faster to have it done verious me doing it cause it takes me a half an hour to do it. Its hard with my Arthritus.

Then i went and stashed the Great Cachers Cache. It hasnt been published yet but it will evenually :). Then i went to the Library in Spanish cause i forgot i didnt have the house keys. so i went there for a while. found out that there is a new Jack Weyland Book. I started to read it. but then Spencer called and wanted me to meet him on Springville at the flying fish hook. I guess there was an Insurance meeting in orem at UVU. So we went up there and went to it. then we went to walmart in Orem. To get Spencer a watch Battery. then we went back to Springville and got the other car then we came home.

I am sick and tired of this election. I so cant wait tell its over. i found out today that they made cabbage patch kids to look like the election candites. so there are cabbage patch kids that look like obama. which makes me want to throw up. I think it was a stupid idea. Also the news starts out with stupid election stuff. instead of normal news. I am to the point that i dont care if ombama was in ohio or wore a purple shirt. just stupid stuf like that. I dont care about the election.

I so cant believe that its november already. This video clip is from our Cache social that we had this weekend. We had a great turn out.

Today is monday and its a great day. The picture above is from the Caching event that we went to on Saturday. It was fun. It was the first FLASH MOB that we have been too. We met some more people that are from the SLC area. We also met some people that we have met before that came down from slc to our event on Labor day. I have decided that this caching hobbie is really fun. We found out a couple of days ago that one of our trackables is in CT. So its not that far from New Jersey. Which is pretty cool. I think. We are having another Caching party on the 1st of November.

I had to write this blog entry because i could tell i was starting to get down and now writting this entry it has helped turn my mood around. which is great as well. That and this music i am listeing too. It makes me Happy. It makes me want to keep going. I dont care what anyone thinks right now.

I went to the midnight showing of High school musical 3 this morning. I went we some of my familay. It was a great movie. I havent seen the first or second movie. but i went and watched this one. cause some of my family are in this one as extras. So i was excited to see it. I wasnt able to see any of them cause i wasnt looking in the right spots. Some of my family saw them selves cause they knew where to look. I want to watch the movie again when it comes out on dvd. so i can watch it in slower motion and see if i can see them. I think it will be fun.

I am starting to get sick. I have woke up with a sore throat and i kinda felt dizzy earlier. right now my stomach is doing flip flops and i feel like i am going to cough up a lung or something.

Me and Spencer went to a Halloween Party that we were invited to. they had taco chili. it was good. they also played some bingo. We were able to hord some halloween candy. I had a blast. we met some great people. One of the guys that went decided to dress up at Santa Claus. everyone wanted to know what we dressed up as. I told them that we were dressed up as MUGGLES. Spencer got a kick out of that one. They wanted me to tell them what i said but i didnt repeat it cause the person that asked me got distracted.

We were only able to stay 45 mins. Cause I promised someone i would take some family pictures of their family. It actually was fun. I ended up with some great shots. that i would like to use for my Portfolio. There kids were cute.

This is a picture that i saw on the net. dont know who took it or anything. But it sure made me laugh my head off. I think the look on the face is way funny. It makes me laugh alot.

Well it has been a lazy day today. I really didnt go anywhere other then to the store to get some milk. Spencer asked me to go get some milk and some hamburger helper. so that is what i did. I finally won the geocoin that i tried to win on EBAY. I had to do 3 auctions before i got it. but i won it on the 3rd Auction. i guess the 3rd time is a charm. :)

Well Spencer had to work today at 3:30 am so he got up at went to work. He got done at work around 1pm. then he came home for a little while. We Decided to go to Angies to get the ammo can that she was giving us. She decided that she didnt want it anymore so we went and got it. After that we decided to go get a couple of Caches up Spanishfork Canyon.

We got them and then we headed to provo cause we wanted to go see the Beverly Hills Chihuahua. But we decided to go to Wendy's and get something to eat before we went to the movie. Then we went back to the mall and went into this ice cream store. It was a intresting store cause froze your ice cream on the spot. It was weird. Spencer got some but i didnt. I decided to get popcorn instead of ice cream. Something to do with Liquid nitro or something like that. We then went to the Movie. It was a great movie. It was funny as well. I give it 9 GOLD stars.

After that we went to Orem and found a couple more caches. I tried to get out of the bushes and i scraped my foot on a branch. cause i was wearing my sandles. It was a warmish day so i was wearing my sandles. all in all it was a great day.

We went to RC WILLEY tonight. To Pay our Bill and while we were there. We went to a part of the parking lot and they had the Byu football game on a huge TV and they were serving hotdogs and drinks. they had chairs set up that you could sit on and watch the game. They Also were giving away prizes. I won a 6 piece knife set. It was a knife block and 6 knifes. Spencer won a knife set as well so we now have 3 knife sets. That is counting the one that we got from Jill Young. The one that she gave us a while back is like a 32 piece set. it came with a knife block some knifes and some other kitchen utensils. Back to the story though. I ended up eating like 5 hotdogs. which was great since we didnt have to buy dinner tonight. Because RC WILLEY fead us. Yeah free food. Byu lost there game. It was the first game this season that they lost. :( dont remember the score. it was 30 something to 7 or something like that.

We went to provo and ate. While we were up there we decided to try to find a cache that got published at 12 something this afternoon. which was up on byu campus. We looked around for a little while and then spencer wanted to try something. We went up on a walkway then went across the road. and we ended up with our 6th FTF which stands for first to find. We were excited that we had beat Dr. Jay. :) W e found it at 5:55 ish. I was suprised that no one found it durning that time. I just checked a minute and no one else has logged it. Yeah for us.

I got gutsy and wrote a email to our old landlord. I wanted to tell him how i felt about the whole situation about us living there. So i wrote it and i dont think i care what he thinks anymore. :)

7 Years ago me and Spencer got married. I love him alot. We are a great couple. I dont think i can make it through life with out him. Love you Spencer forever.

Us with Spencers Grandpa. He came up with Spencers Parents we didnt see him tell yesterday. He came up for the Baby Blessing.

Well its been a great weekend. Other then being cold. It was alright. Spencer parents were here this weekend. We played games with them and ate pizza with them last night. We Had a blast. we had a great time. His Parents came up this weekend to Spend some time with the family. One of the main reasons that they came up here was for Jason and Kristins Daughters blessing. Spencers Father did the blessing. and almost named her a different name. So he corrected it though. It was weird. I have never seen that happen before. So it was weird. It was corrected though.

Me and Spencer went to Provo today. I wore my coat. cause its getting cold. Its supposed to snow tomorrow. I wore my sandals. I guess i am going to have to stop wearing them cause its cold outside and my feet got cold. We went to eat in Provo. and then we went up to Orem up by the University Mall. We wanted to go find a cache that we have tried to find before when we didn't have a GPS. So now that we have a GPS we were able to find it. Its nice to be able to have a GPS now. cause its helped us find some caches that we wouldn't have been able to find with out the cache.

Well I think i have been doing good with writing on this blog so far. I did pretty good on my last cache as well that is until. recently cause i slacked on it. But then i decided to change blogs cause i needed a change. But you already know that as i have said it before.

I am cold. Also it doesn't help when you are already cold and then you drink a cold drink. but. to me drinking a drink is nasty in less its cold. It just makes it better for some reason. I don't like warm or hot drinks. that's why i don't like hot chocolate. Yes i am strange but who cares. I like what i like. :)

Spencer was given a couple of tickets to a haunted forest. His Supervisor at work gave them to him. The place is in pleasant grove. I normally don't like spook alleys and that type of stuff. Holy freak the tickets are like 16 bucks a piece. That is expensive. I don't know if we will end up going or not. We will have to see. I am just glad that we didn't buy them. I just don't know if i would of bought it. But oh well. I also was given a coupon from sonic for free tater tots since i am in the birthday club with them. I am excited. I cant wait to get my free tater tots. yeah for me.

NEW GEO COINS

This is the Geo Coin that I got in the mail today. It lloks like one of those hide a key containers. that you can stash somewhere so you dont get locked out of your house or Car. These hide a key containers are useful for other stuf as well. They make a perfect container for a geo cach also. They are nifty containers.

I have decided that i like the way i have set this blog up so far. It is neat. Its a great change. I loved my old blog. But needed a change. Now if i can stay motivated to write on this nice blog. that will be great. I am really excited.

It was a great crisp fall day yesterday. Kevin Eubank says its susposed to get cold soon and maybe snow. I dont know if i am ready for it to snow. But if it does then it does i guess. I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later since it is fall. Oh well live goes on I guess.

Well our 65th Geo cache was published yesterdayafternoon. I am glad that it was finally published. I hid it last week sometime. And the guy who publishes the caches finally published it. The name of the cache started out as fish hook but after it was published. i decided to name it flying fish hook. Which is great cause i was'nt going to name it that. But i changed my mind after it got published. So far we have found 258 caches so far. Out of those 258 caches we have only found 33 with a gps. Yes we didnt have a gps at first. so we used google maps. so now we use both which doesnt hurt. Anyway one of the Die Hard Cachers which is Dr Jay. We thought that he would run down there and get the FTF but he didnt and neither has anyone else. which is a shocker oh well its his problem not mine maybe today.

Last night a couple of shows that i like were suposed to be on. The shows are Law & Order SVU and The Biggest loser. They didnt even show Law and Order last night and they cut The Biggest Loser by an hour and put it on later. Why because they thought that the stupid Election debate thing was more special. They are going to show the other half of The Biggest Loser late on tonight i guess. But if it was me in charge of programing shows then i would have thrown the debate out the window.

Hampster Dance Duo

This is what we saw on the sidewalk up Provo Canyon. Its a neat Picture. It reminds me of the Hampsters from the Hampster Dance. Spencer has named this picture the Hampster Dance Duo. It makes me laugh everytime that i see it so i thought that it would make you smile as well. This picture was taken on the 7th of Sept which is almost a month from today. So I am hoping that you enjoy as much as we did. I will be back to write another post soon

5 OCT 08

Today is my Birthday!!! Can you believe that i am now 34 years old. So today being conference. we mostly just hung out at the house. Which was relaxing as well. Then we tried to go and find 3 caches. But we didnt have any luck. They were on the Provo River Trail. and it got dark. So then we went down by the Provo Towne center mall and tried to find another cache but then we couldnt find that one either cause Spencer wanted to go home and i lost patience in looking for the cache so we just came home.

Yesterday Me and Spencer went to chucka rama and celebrated. It was Yummy. I had a blast. I enjoyed the time together. It also rained all day yesterday. We went and found a cache near Byu. The name of the cache is Cosmo's Travel Bug "Exchange" so after that we went home I think. This weekend has been a nice weekend.

We are slowly getting stuff putaway from the move. It is more and more becoming home to us. It better be cause this is where we get to be. God must have plans for us here. We have only been to the ward one time so far and that was last weekend. I am excited to get to know new people in this ward. Well Excited and nervous. but it will work out all in the end. I have faith that it will. :)

STARTING FROM NOW

I am just going to start from now. I know its been awhile. But i will just write. We have been getting things put away from the move. Yeah we moved. Why cause the lease was basically over and the landlord decided to be a jerk. even with the deposit money. But I guess you cant win them all. Yes we got screwed. But life goes on i guess. We werent able to find a place right away so My great sister offered to let us stay at her house temporay tell we found a place. So we are greatful that they put up with us long enough to find a place. Thank you. we are greatful.

Its a 3 bedroom place. We found that out when we came to look at it. The property management told us it was a 2 bedroom place. so we lucked out .

Spencer still works at Pepsi. He has been there for over a year. But he has witched from the swing shift to days. It will be a new adventure for him. But he will get more experience on other things. Which will be good as well.

well its 2 something in the blasted am. so i wil write again :)

Well we went to the Balloons again this year. It was great. we went with Spencers family. we had fun. we went to Golden corral to their Breakfast buffet and ate. then we went to the movies and watched WallE It was a great day. then after that we came home and hung out and took it easy for the rest of the day. it was a blast.

This years American Shirts we had made up. we picked out the picture and the text. It is a picture of a hot Air Balloon which is the Hare Balloon. It is the first Hot Air Balloon that goes up every year on each of the 3 days. The text on the shirt says by the dawns early light.

I am Still alive

It was a hot day today. it was great. Woke up this morning and got on email and found out that they had published the still cache. They published it like at 10 something am. So i ran up to where the cache was and stashed the container. where it is susposed to be. then i came home. and like 12 noonish is when Adoor made it known that he was the FTF. This Cache has me frustrated. It took 19 days to get this Cache published. why cause Adoor has 50 million caches. Our 32 caches dont put a dent into his 50 milllion caches. Yes i am frustrated. why cause it shouldnt take 19 days to get a cache published. I kept running into ? Caches that you cant see where they are on the map.

Went on a drink run with Sherrie Barker. She is a lady from the ward. She is a great woman. We went to Flying J. and while we were down there we put some gas in the car. We have 31 caches at the moment published. we are trying to to get one published in christys town. were going to have it published have the 2 TB's and a Geocoin that Tiff took with her to visit christy. were going throw them in the cache and hopefully they will be picked soon after. then we might kill the cache. Mostly doing this cache as a port for the TB's

I am out of Dr Pepper. I am having a DP attack. the problem is dont get payed tell thursday so i am just trying to deal with it.

Its been windy this afternoon. So I really havent left the property. that much today. why cause dont have much gas.

I WRITE AGAIN

It has been a great day today. It was actually sunny today. not yesterday but the day before it was rainy. I had a interview at pinnacle security on wednesday. I am hoping that i can get a job soon. something has got to give. i need a job bad.

Family had a campout this weekend. I went to it yesterday for a little while. but was'nt able to stay. cause spencer had to work and i needed to do some job searching. I wasnt able to go to all of it. but i went to some that should at least count.

Going to go to a BBQ tommorrow. I am excited. Its Spencers work BBQ. it should be fun. there is going to be door prizes. hope we win something.

I WROTE

Need to start writting on this blog everyday. Just havent lately. i am a Blog slacker big time lately. Well its a great day outside. Its Friday.

Spencer is at work. And i am at the house. just hanging out. I made some hard boiled eggs today. I made 5 and have already eaten 2 of them. I like hard boiled eggs.

new view of tower

the last little while

Well i admit I havent written since the 6th i think. Alot has happend since then. We have over 25 Geo Caches under are belt. We have been having fun with it. Its a really great way to have fun with out spending much. We seriously been having a great time.

On Sunday we went to church. Sitting there and and Spencer says to me hey that looks like M. Russell Ballard. Come to find out that it was. I guess his Great Grandkid is in our ward. It was a neat meeting to be in. He ended up getting up and talking. After Sacrement meeting. we were able to say hi and be able to shake his hand. You Could really feel the the Spirit strong.

On Saturday we were able to go to Heber city and were able to ride the Heber Creeper. It was a great experience. I am glad that we were able to go. It was neat cause we got to watch them take the Engine off so they could move it to the other side so we could go back the way we came.

We celebrated Spencers Birthday this week as well. We went out and Had Lunch together. It was great. He had to work on his Birthday though. Their should be a law against working on your Birthday. Anyway we did the Birthday Cake thing after he got home from work.

Hiding a Geo Cache

A Couple of Weeks Ago We went to Bountiful and while we were up there, we went and found some Geo Caches with My 2 brothers and 2 sister In laws. Well Spencer Had a great Time. So We Decided that we wanted to Go and Hide a couple Caches ourselves. We decided to do 2 caches and we each picked some stuff and we each made one up. So Here I am Hiding my Cache. My Brother and sister in law Came with us. We used his gps device to hide them. So they came as support as well as the gps.



When we went to Bountiful That day was the first time that Spencer has been on caches. So He has caught the Geo Cache bug. I have been on some before with some of my siblings. It was fun.

Passenager Trains

Yesterday we were able to go spend time with Spencer's brother Travis and his family. We had fun dipping different things into a chocolate fountain that they got at DI. We then were able to play bowling on the nintedo wii that they have. After we spent time with them we decided that we were going to go home. On our way home we were driving down highway 89 and noticed that there was a train going north on the track next to the highway. It happened to be an amtrak passenager train, so we decided to go to Provo to see if we could see it up close when it was stopped in Provo at the small train station in Provo. We made it to Provo in time to take a few poor pictures. Hope that they look good. I also need to post some pictures of us dipping treats into the chocolate fountain, once we get them. We had a good evening.

I have been working on a couple scrapbook pages that all I needed to do was to glue the pictures and lettering down to finish them, so I was able to do that as well. Here are the two srapbook pages that I finished.

Custom plates

Well Spencer went and registered the side kick under are name. So its in our name and not Doug's which will be nice. Right now we have temp plates on it cause we decided that we were going to get custom plates on it. So we have some temp plates right now tell we can get the plates in the mail. It will be really nice. I think.

Well it was nice outside today. It was sunny. it started out to be stormy looking. But the sun decided to come out. which was nice. I love this time of year. Its nice outside.
